 Raiders Gear Up for Big Chiefs Matchup

As we get geared up for week 1, we have an intriguing AFC matchup between the Raiders and the Chiefs.


A fresh start for both teams as they both competed for third place n the division watching the Broncos and Chargers totally dominate the conference the last 2 years.  We start off at the QB position with the 5"11 220-pound James "Jimmy" Walker out of Eastern Michigan, looking to show y he was slated to be the man.

This year Walker the sophomore quarterback, looks to shake off a troubling preseason on which he led league in yardage, but it was his completion % that left much to be desired from the Las Vegas staff. The RB position is solidified with Josh Jacob's and Tony Pollard as the 1 2 punches, the former of which looked outstanding in his last preseason game; perhaps a look of things to come in the running game during the season.  In the WR corps, the Raiders decided to go with 7 receivers with Davante Adam's and Jahan Dotson leading the young corps.

"The offensive line will be young, but I think their strengths will be in the running game"

Defense without question is the strongest phase of this team and if they can keep them off the field and the offense on more, they could carry them into the playoffs this time around. My Prediction for the Las Vegas Raiders: 9-8 barely missing the playoffs, but a vast improvement. For sure a team to keep on your radar.
